The National Association of Realtors SFR Designation:

 Press Release -  Mar 28, 2010 – (Burnsville, MN) – Daniel C. Swanson and Margo A. Swanson of Swanson Property & Realty, Inc., have earned the Short Sales and Foreclosure designation (SFR), a nationally recognized certification. 

     This course is offered to Realtors by the National Association of Realtors (NAR) and is earned to help sellers understand and navigate these complicated transactions.  The need for professional expertise with distressed properties continues to grow, which prompted this broker/agent team to pursue their Certification.   

     The Swansons have worked on transactions involving distressed properties and understand the importance to continually expand their education to help Buyers with expert guidance in how to negotiate and structure their offers on distressed properties.   This dynamic team also understands how difficult it is for a Seller to realize that losing their home to foreclosure could be a possibility.  Through their expertise, they guide the Seller(s) through the process to avoid this possibility and seamlessly connect them with teams of professionals to help Sellers avoid foreclosures.

     The SFR Certification program includes training on how to qualify sellers for short sales, negotiate with lenders, and limit risk of the sellers.
